Hey, I Just got the camera and it has a pretty bad motion detection. It only detects persons If they are direct in front of the camera. I put the sensitivity all the way up and the range to the maximum of 10 feet. What can I do to fix that?

How high did you mount the camera? It has an certain angle the motion detection triggers on, available from the apps help section for the particular camera, iirc.
So if you mounted it low and it also points downward, the motion area is not that big. You could try to alter the angle a bit higher to see if it helps or mount it to suitable height
