I recently installed the battery 2k doorbell but wired it to my existing doorbell wires. When I turned it on, everything works except I receive constant feedback in the existing doorbell chime. My old doorbell button had a diode installed between terminals, so I am wondering if I need to install a Diode between terminals on the 2k doorbell to quiet the feedback. Thoughts?
