just installed eufy migrated from ring. I wired it to my mechanical chime and it works… I have 2 issues…
My doorbell is running on version 184.108.40.206 and homebase on firmware 220.127.116.11h.
when someone Rings the bell, and the second I press answer, the video recording stops (stops meaning i can have the conversation live but have no record of the conversation in my events past that). so, no one way recording and obviously no 2 ways. This is crucial. when someone answers the doorbell, another person that has access cannot chime in…in the ring app, two people with apps and access could talk with the person ringing the bell.
I understand it was an issue with the wired doorbell that was solved…Am I on the latest firmware update? or is there a setting I can tweak? this is important for me. It feels to me that this is more of a security camera than a doorbell if thats the case. Shame because the video quality is great, motion detection is good etc.
