My Eufy Cam Home Base 2 has a problem when connected via wifi.
It will work fine for a few minutes, then it will start hitting the router with DHCP requests, several a minute until the light goes red and it drops off the network.
This is the only device doing this, and it does not happen when on a wired connection.
Not sure where the issue is. It’s got a solid signal and other devices much further from the router are on the same 2.4 network and working fine.
Why not give the Homebase a reserved address so it doesn’t need DHCP. I’ve run a fixed IP for my homebase for over 2 years and it doesn’t have any issues.
Note that if you have set Mac address exclusion or inclusion testing for the Homebase with DHCP, the Mac address of Homebase is different than the ethernet MAC address reported in the app. That might be the reason its failing to get a DHCP address.
