Are there any plans to just sell the battery powered video doorbell by itself for those of us who already have a home base 2?
It’s been said here that they are planning to release a standalone version in about 4 months

To address your concern, the Battery Doorbell is currently only comes with the combo set. We are sincerely sorry to let you know the individual set is not available for the market at this stage.
