Hi Eufy support,
due to the fact that geofencing in your eufy Security app doesn’t work stable and reliable I contacted the support in Germany. I was told that geofencing in general is still in beta status what is wondering me because since last year it’s no longer shown as beta in the app.
However - I was also told by the support colleague that eufy is aware about the issues with geofencing and they’re constantly working on a solution - but now since over a year obviously.
I would have a proposal/idea: other apps, like the DS Cam app from Synology have the option to enable geofencing also via WiFi to increase the reliability and accuracy of this function.
Would that also an idea to consider this in future app releases?
