In 2020, most eufy camera resolutions were 1080P, but as of today, eufy new cameras have been upgraded to 2K, 3K, 4K, etc. However, the cloud backup resolution of most devices is only 1080P, which is not friendly to users who choose this service.
Therefore, we decided to optimize the experience of cloud backup service so that the cloud resolution is consistent with local. This will also bring a huge increase in cloud storage costs. So eufy will increase the price of Cloud Backup after completing this experience upgrade. The official price adjustment time is April 1, 2025 (PCT). Reminder: Users who are subscribing to cloud backup on or before March 31, 2025 (PCT) will not be affected by the price increase, but will enjoy the same service improvement until the subscription is terminated; these users will also be charged the new price when they re-subscribe after the subscription is terminated after the price increase.
