Hello - I know that the Video doorbells do not support Homekit, and I assume it is possibly an Apple related issue (to do with requirements for doorbells to be wired etc), but there are some basic functionalities which would be beneficial even if you couldn’t view the camera from the Home app. These include:
- Homepod as a chime
- Light activation with motion or doorbell ring
Even if you could use Siri Shortcuts or IFTTT to achieve the above, I think that would be beneficial (without mimicking all the doorbell controls in Home). This for me would be enough!
