Smart door lock with fingerprint reader got jammed today and had to dissemble and basically “break” the lock to release the bolt. I heard other are experiencing this as well. Any info on this?

I spoke to support and they advised me to contact Amazon for a replacement since it has only been 2 weeks I owned the lock. I had to completely destroy the locking mechanism to get the lock off since the deadbolt would not retract no matter what.
This happened to me this week. Deadbolt got stuck and the manual knob does not move at all.
