Indoor Cam 2K Pan & Tilt : Add On / Off switch for Motion Detection & Motion Tracking in Security Mode Settings

Hi

I have just purchased the Indoor Cam 2K Pan & Tilt and after setting it up and testing it I have noticed that no matter what Security Mode I set it to it does not stop Motion Detection & Motion Tracking. This means at the moment if I have the camera in Disarmed mode the camera still moves and follows people which is not what I’d want it to do.

As a solution could you add an On / Off switch for Motion Detection & Motion Tracking in Security Mode Settings similar to the notifications settings that currently exist?

Thanks for a great camera and I hope this idea is taken onboard.

As a workaround you can just turn off record video and notification in security settings. It will still follow, but unless you use Live View, nothing get recorded.

Its not a bad idea to have a security option to turn off motion tracking and/or just turn the cam off altogether.
