We just bought a house equipped with the battery powered doorbell and a home base 2 unit. For security should I reset the two two devices before I begin the setup?
I would suggest doing this OF COURSE! You also need to transfer the account with the new email and personal info if you haven’t already. Don’t forget to change the login info with a new password too. All of this stuff should be done right away. You may want to charge the doorbell as well. Just use the pinhole in the bottom of the doorbell to remove it from its hinges and plug a micro USB into the back of it.
